Privacy Policy
RangeKeeper (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control your data when using the mobile app and this website.
1. Data you provide
- Account information (email, country, profile details)
- App content you enter: guns, ammunition, sessions, hunts, licenses, photos, notes
- Support messages you send us
2. Data collected automatically
- Device and app diagnostics if crash reporting is enabled (e.g. Sentry, when configured)
- Product analytics events if analytics is enabled (e.g. PostHog, when configured)
- Purchase status via RevenueCat when subscriptions are enabled
3. How we use data
We use your data to operate the Service, authenticate you, sync your records, send optional reminders you configure, process subscriptions, improve reliability, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Storage and security
App data is stored in your private Supabase database with row-level security so only you can access your records. Photos are stored in private storage buckets. Auth tokens are kept in the device secure store (Keychain / Keystore).
5. Third-party processors
Depending on configuration, we may use:
- Supabase (database, auth, storage)
- Apple / Google (sign-in)
- RevenueCat (subscriptions)
- Sentry (crash reporting)
- PostHog (analytics)
6. Local notifications
Reminders you enable are scheduled on your device. We do not need a push notification server to deliver them.
7. Your rights
You can export or delete your data from the app (account deletion removes your records). You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable under GDPR or local law.
8. Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. After deletion, backups may persist for a limited period before being purged by our infrastructure providers.
9. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16.
